Servelots is a web service provider for Small to Medium Enterprises.

Servelots was founded in 1999 by a group of Computer Scientists who wanted to provide a highly cost effective but user friendly software for SME's with a special focus on the organizations working in the social development sectors.

Servelots develops and distributes its software named Pantoto. Pantoto is a Free and Open Source toolset that enables the organizations to manage their information and communication without software development dependency. Over the last few years, Pantoto has been successfully deployed in various organizations through training a small group on the concepts of Information and Community Management.

The conference community was created for PCRA based on Pantoto. It is much more than a website, it is a dynamic community portal for knowledge management and networking.

Shri Shakti Alternative Energy Limited , Hyderabad

Pantoto was used for the Building Energy Performance Index ( BEPI) survey to captures information to calculate a Building's Energy performance. The data collected through the site will be used by SSAEL to develop a Building Energy Performance Index(BEPI) for India.

The Indo-Dutch Programme on Alternatives in Development, Delhi

The Pantoto based community created for IDPAD captures information related to scientists, projects, and organizations involved in the social science research. The content has been interlinked to create depth of content.


Indicorps, Ahmedabad
Pantoto was used to develop an extranet for Indicorps volunteers to connect with each other. Through this intranet Indicorps volunteers could submit their project, visit or staff reports, enter their plans and to-do items etc.

Servelots Infotech provides web services to Small to Medium Enterprises (SME's) that enables them to manage their information and communication in a very cost effective and user friendly way.

At Servelots, we have learned that the Free and Open Source technologies have greatly enhanced our ability to develop software. Our team members have worked extensively in Java, MySQL, WebMacro, Javascript, XHTML, HTML, XML, Ant, Subversion, Hibernate, Servlets etc.

Our motivation for training is to spread the awareness of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) for two reasons:

1. To develop better code
2. These FOSS tools will themselves get even better as more people will use them effectively.

We bring to you what we have learned while using these FOSS tools. We will share with you the concepts, the advantages, the disadvantages along with our other real life experiences with FOSS.

We are currently looking for

1) Software Testing and Product Support:
A team player willing to multi-task and work in a small closely knit team in testing a community oriented product. Also reponsible for writing test scripts, building and testing the initial communities based on the customer's requirements.

Desired Qualifications
1) Comfortable with Internet
2) Familiarity with Web-applications
3) Good verbal and written communication skills
4) Self-motivated and independent worker



2) Software Developer:
A team player willing to multi-task and work in a small closely knit team to design and develop a significant product.

Desired Qualifications
1) Engineering or Computer background
2) Strong computer science fundamentals
3) Prefer experience in a Linux development environment
4) Prior experience in Javascript and Python is preferred
5) Welcome experience with Open Source project development
6) Good communication skills
7) Self-motivated and independent worker
